I don't know what model of Saab this was originally used for. It is superseded by part 9522061, a small silver or white relay. This version is 50% larger. It's a 4 pin silver relay with multiple uses including: Ignition lock or switch on most 900 and 9000; relay for 2 step cooling fan for 900 and 9000; Rrear defrost on NG900, 9-3 and 9-5.
